Usually when we have sunburned skin on a sunny day, we would apply aloe vera to soothe the condition; we would also add some aloe vera into the soup to enhance the flavour. Today, PhytoFairy is not going to share with you the cooking methods of aloe vera, instead we want to share the goodness of drinking aloe vera as a healthy beverage!

Everyone must have gone through gastrointestinal discomfort at some points in their life. It may be due to food poisoning that could lead to diarrhoea, or maybe you have a soft spot for irritating foods, such as coffee, alcoholic beverages or sweet and spicy foods; it may also be indigestion problems caused by irregular eating habits due to the tight schedule or even mental pressure. All of these factors may contribute to gastrointestinal inflammation.

If you have a very sensitive stomach and are prone to feeling discomforts very often, you may try aloe vera as a natural remedy. Aloe vera contains plenty of natural active molecules and other vitamins, minerals and natural enzymes. If you have been taking Phyto Aloe Vera Whole Leaf Concentrate, besides the 60000mg of aloe vera extracted into 120ml of aloe vera juice which may help to promote digestion and ease mild constipation!

Of course, regular exercises may also help gastrointestinal digestion and absorption as well as consuming dietary fiber and drinking more water may help to relieve constipation too!

Usually, we would just consume the aloe vera flesh, be it applied on our face or added as an ingredient in the soup. We tend to remove the outer layer of the aloe vera. However, Phyto Aloe Vera Whole Leaf Concentrate is a combination of the outer layer and the inner gel of aloe vera, allowing the nutrition of the aloe vera to be perfectly preserved.

In fact, the species of aloe vera is important for us to know too. In fact, not all aloe vera are suitable for consumption! Phyto Aloe Vera Whole Leaf Concentrate is extracted from Barbados Aloe, which is not only safe to eat but could also provide curative effects for our body. Barbados Aloe is one of the species of aloe vera plant and it is also called Aloe Barbadensis Miller.

Thus, before consuming any aloe vera based products, don't forget to ensure the species labelled in the ingredients!
